Window -> Translation -> Remote character set: -> UTF-8

(default is ISO-8859-1:1998 (Latin-1, West Europe))


Check if your linux is utf8

# locale

if now, set locale...

# locale -a   //show locale you have
# export LC_ALL=en_US.utf8  //set en_US for example
