Open the gnome-display-properties: ( System > Preferences > Display)

Connect the 2nd display, and press "Detect Monitors", you will find the display.

Choose the 2nd display, and press on radio button "On".

The 2nd display now should work. You can move the monitor box to arrange their relative position, or check the "Mirror screens" to show same thing on 2 display.

[Notes] xrandr --output VGA0 --auto (--right-of LVDS0)
